Series -
The
series comprises auspicious paintings that likens
children with the "Seven Lucky Gods" and their "Treasure
Boat".
As the series title "Mitate Fukujin
kodakara tomine" suggests, this is a set of the "Seven
Lucky Gods". "Tomine" ("富根") is a play on the word
"ship", here representing the "Treasure Boat" of the
Seven Lucky Gods". Thus the series is made up by seven
prints of "The Seven Lucky Gods" and a print containing
the "Treasure Boat" as a symbol, making
it a total of eight prints in the set.
The circular
top pictures next to the series title cassette, always
depicts the symbol of the appropriate God.
The prints do not contain a
individual title or title cassette. The complete set
may be seen here.
