Comment - This woodblock greeting card describes a lively winter scene at New Year's in Ikaruga (literally common "dove"), Ikoma District (Nara Prefecture) in front of the three-storied Buddhist Hokki-ji (·¨ÆðËÂ). Since 1993, Hokki-ji is a World Heritage Site (cf. actual photo). Two boys flying a yakko kite ("yakko dako", "Å«„J") on a snowy pasture.
