KUNISATO was born to a cofectioner and owner of a pastry shop in Edo in the Tategawa ward of Honjo, they moved to Owari-Cho of the neighbouring ward. About that time he entered Kunisada I's workshop and seemed to be adopted by him. KUNISATO died at an early age in 1958.
